The battery your Aquaracer takes
Which battery?
Most 300-metre three-hand quartz Aquaracers take a Renata 395, and the quartz chronographs a Renata 394. Send us the reference from the case back and we’ll confirm it. You don’t need to know yourself.
Signs it needs more than a battery
When a battery isn’t the answer
- The last battery only lasted a year or so
- It runs on the wrist but stops when you take it off
- There is misting under the glass
If we see any of these, we tell you what we’ve found and the price before doing anything else.

Questions
Aquaracer battery questions
How much is a TAG Heuer Aquaracer battery replacement?
£79 including VAT for any quartz Aquaracer. That includes a new Renata battery, three new seals, an ultrasonic clean, a pressure test with printout, a 2-year guarantee and insured return.
Will it still be water resistant afterwards?
We replace all three seals and pressure test it to the depth on the case back. You get the printout.
Is the Aquaracer chronograph the same price?
Yes, the same £79.
Is a diver’s watch tested more carefully?
Every watch is tested to the depth on its own case back, so a 300-metre Aquaracer is tested as a 300-metre watch. You get the printout.
