Getting the right genuine part
Crown, tube or stem?
A crown screws onto a tube in the case and connects to a stem inside the movement. Sometimes only the crown needs replacing. Sometimes the tube or stem is worn too, and fitting a new crown alone wouldn’t fix the fault. Crowns that look alike can differ in size, thread and stem, so we identify your exact reference before we order anything.
- Send us the reference and photos. The case back, the front of the watch and a close-up of the crown.
- We confirm the part and price. Crown alone, or crown with tube or stem, and the exact price, in writing.
- We fit it and test it. New seals, a check that it winds, sets and screws down properly, then a pressure test.
- It comes home insured. With a 2-year guarantee on the work and the parts.

Will my watch still be water resistant?
